Welcome to ELV Base ("ELV Base", "we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and explain here how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit https://www.elvbase.com or use our software and related services.

2. Who We Serve
ELV Base is a B2B platform for ELV engineers and system integrators. It is not intended for personal consumer use or for children.
3. Information We Collect
Account information: name, email, password (stored via our auth provider), company and workspace details. Billing information: billing address, tax/VAT identifiers, subscription plan, and transaction references. Payment card data is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Platform and project data: projects, floors/zones, device records, commissioning statuses, notes, comments, team membership, and operational metadata you enter. You retain ownership of this content; we process it to provide the service. Uploaded content: PDF handover reports, imported device schedules, and other files or media you upload or generate through ELV Base, stored to deliver reporting and project workflows. Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, session identifiers, server logs, security events, and essential cookies required for authentication and preferences. Marketing preferences: optional newsletter consent and communication preferences where you opt in.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use data to provide and operate ELV Base, authenticate users, process subscriptions and invoices, generate reports, improve reliability and security, communicate about your account, comply with law, and—only with analytics consent—understand product usage.
5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
Contract performance (delivering the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement where balanced against your rights), legal obligations (tax and accounting), and consent (marketing emails and non-essential analytics cookies where applicable).
6. Payments
Stripe processes payments. We receive limited billing-related information such as payment status, subscription status, billing name and address, and transaction references. We do not store full payment card numbers.
7. Invoicing
Invoicing is handled via Számlázz.hu. We share billing details needed for compliant invoices: company name, billing address, tax number, email, and purchased plan details.
8. Hosting, Infrastructure & Processors
We use trusted processors to run ELV Base, including: • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage • Vercel — application hosting and deployment • Stripe — subscription payments • Resend — transactional email delivery • Számlázz.hu — invoicing • Microsoft Clarity — session analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies) • Vercel Analytics & Vercel Speed Insights — usage and performance metrics (only if you accept analytics cookies) Each processor processes data under its own terms and only as needed to provide the relevant service.
9. Analytics, Session Recording & Cookies
Essential cookies and similar technologies are always used where needed for sign-in (including Supabase session cookies), security, language preference (elvbase_locale), and Stripe checkout. These cannot be disabled while using the service. Optional analytics (Microsoft Clarity, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights) load only after you choose "Accept all" on our cookie banner. When enabled, these tools may collect information such as page views, clicks, scrolling and interaction patterns, session duration, approximate geography, browser and device characteristics, and performance timings to help us improve ELV Base. We do not use Google Analytics. You can change your choice by clearing site cookies or contacting us. Internal @elvbase.com accounts are excluded from Clarity recording where technically configured.
10. Marketing Communications
Product updates and newsletters are opt-in. You can unsubscribe using the link in emails or by contacting hello@elvbase.com.
11. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers listed above, when required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition with appropriate safeguards.
12. International Transfers
Some processors may process data outside the European Economic Area. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
13. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as your account is active and as needed for billing records, tax and accounting, security logs, and dispute resolution. After termination, data is not kept indefinitely—see our Terms regarding export before access ends.
14. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
15. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, data portability, and withdraw consent. Contact hello@elvbase.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
